February 14th: the day we celebrate love and affection. Without a doubt, Covid has prevented so much in our lives over the past year, yet it has highlighted how important love is. The significance of a simple hug or kiss. The new found appreciation for the simple things which bring meaning to each day. The huge sacrifices made by so many have put a spotlight on what love really means to each and every one of us. One thing's for sure, Valentine's won't be an easy day for many this year. For some, there will be a gaping hole left by the loss of a loved one. For others, it will be a chance to mark new beginnings of a life committed to one another. However you are feeling right now, and whatever your plans may be, make music a priority. Listening to music can help us express our emotions in the most powerful way. Not only can music set the stage for an important event, it can also release endorphins in the brain which enhances our mood, enabling us to feel uplifted and less anxious. According to Plato, "music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything". While we eagerly await our return to live performance we want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and we send you our love!
